What do Velvet Mite Larvae look like?

The photo above shows a type of cranefly with two velvet mite larvae attached to its back. You can click the photo for a closer view.

The larvae are parasitic. Although they don't injure their hosts, two mites like this must be quite a burden to carry around for such a small insect.
