Latin name: Turdus migratorius

Size: Grows to 25cms

Distribution: North American species. A very rare migrant.

Months seen: N/A.

Habitat: N/A.

Food: Insects.

Special features: About the same size as a fieldfare. Dark grey back, black head and red breast. The one in the photo above was spotted at Grimsby, Lincolnshire in winter 2004.
