Latin name: Opisthograptis luteolata

Size: Wingspan approximately 35mms.

Distribution: Found throughout the UK.

Months seen: Between April and October.

Habitat: Hedgerows and gardens.

Food: Nectar. The twig-like caterpillars feed on hawthorn.

Special features: A pretty little creamy-yellow coloured moth with some brown and grey spots on the wings.
