Woodcock Returned to the Wild

Latest News >   Woodcock Returned to the Wild >

This clip shows volunteer wildlife rescuer Holly Lane successfully releasing a little Woodcock which was picked up and taken to Folly Wildlife Rescue, Kent, after colliding with a building in London.

After a thorough check over, 48 hours rest, and some T.L.C. from the Folly team, the Woodcock was given an indoor test flight in their specially constructed aviary.

The flight was successful and so it was released into the safety of the wooded reserve next to the Folly Wildlife Hospital.

This is just one of thousands of wild animals helped by the team at Folly each year.  Find out more about the work they do, and how you could help at www.follywildliferescue.org.uk
