This photo of a Humming-bird Hawk-moth was taken
by Des Daughton who works in a steel works in Llanelli, South Wales. He took this photo of the moth feeding on Buddleia at the back of the works. Des said he and his wife have a large garden, but neither of them had even heard of one of these moths let alone seen one.
Des used a Canon EOS 1DS MkII , fitted with a 70-210 at f2.8.
