At first glance this photo appears to show a male Kestrel been harassed by a young kestrel for a prey item it has. After a bit of investigation it's been discovered this is a young Kestrel being taught to hunt by its parent. A rarely witnessed event.
Paul Rigg took the photo using a Sony a200 with Tamron 70-300mm lens.
